Relocating to Tampa from Richmond, Virginia in the summer of 2022, Derek brought a wealth of experience to Sutton Wealth Advisors, where he contributed as a Portfolio Manager. During Derek's tenure at TCV Trust & Wealth Management, he played a pivotal role on the Trust Investment Committee, conducted comprehensive equity research, and successfully managed the firm's fixed income strategies.

His professional journey is marked by a commitment to excellence and a comprehensive understanding of investment strategies, extending to portfolio management, equity research, and fixed income strategies.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Derek finds joy in exploring the vibrant Tampa area alongside his wife, and they cherish moments spent with their three children.
